ACTIVE INGREDIENTS (per 5 mL):

• Guaifenesin 50 mg – an expectorant that loosens thick chest mucus

• Levomenthol 1.1 mg – provides a cooling effect to soothe the airways

USES (INDICATIONS):

• Relief of chesty coughs (productive coughs with mucus)

• Helps children cough up phlegm more easily

• Clears chest congestion without causing drowsiness

HOW IT WORKS:
Guaifenesin helps thin and loosen mucus in the lungs, making it easier to expel. Levomenthol gives a soothing, cooling feeling and helps open the airways.

DOSAGE AND ADMINISTRATION:

• Children 6 to 12 years: 5 mL up to 4 times daily (maximum 20 mL in 24 hours)

• Do not give to children under 6 years

• Use a measuring spoon or cup for accuracy

• Do not exceed the stated dose

• Consult a doctor if symptoms persist for more than 5 days

SIDE EFFECTS:

• Nausea or stomach upset

• Diarrhoea or mild gastrointestinal discomfort

• Allergic reactions like rash or itching (rare)

PRECAUTIONS:

• Not suitable for persistent cough due to asthma or smoking

• Contains small amounts of alcohol and sugar – use with caution in diabetic children

• Shake well before use

• Do not use with other cough or cold medicines unless directed by a doctor

STORAGE:

• Store below 25 degrees Celsius

• Keep bottle tightly closed and out of reach of children

• Discard 4 months after opening or after expiry date
