VOLUME: Typically supplied in 100 mL or 125 mL bottles
SUITABLE FOR: Infants and young children aged 3 months to 2 years (age restrictions may vary by region)
TYPE: Mild, soothing syrup for relief of dry or tickly coughs in babies

ACTIVE INGREDIENT (per 5 mL):

• Glycerol 0.75 mL – acts as a demulcent to coat and soothe the throat

USES (INDICATIONS):

• Provides relief from dry, tickly, and irritating coughs in infants

• Helps calm the throat and reduce the frequency of coughing

HOW IT WORKS:
Glycerol forms a protective film over the lining of the throat, reducing irritation and suppressing the urge to cough naturally without sedatives.

DOSAGE AND ADMINISTRATION:

• Infants aged 3 months to under 1 year: 2.5 mL up to 3 times daily

• Children aged 1 to 2 years: 5 mL up to 3 times daily

• Do not exceed recommended dose

• Use a proper measuring spoon or syringe

SIDE EFFECTS:

• Very well tolerated

• Mild digestive upset is rare

• Allergic reaction is extremely rare

PRECAUTIONS:

• Not suitable for babies under 3 months old

• Contains sucrose and should be used with care in babies with known sugar intolerances

• Consult a doctor if symptoms persist more than 5 days

• Do not use with other cough or cold medicines unless prescribed

STORAGE:

• Store below 25 degrees Celsius

• Keep bottle tightly closed and out of the reach of children

• Use within 4 months of opening
