Cadiphen Syrup is an expectorant used to relieve symptoms related to cough, chest congestion, and allergic reactions affecting the respiratory system. It’s commonly used in conditions like:

• Bronchitis (both chronic and allergic)

• Laryngitis

• Pharyngitis

• Bronchiectasis

• Smoker’s cough

Key Ingredients & Their Functions

• Guaifenesin – Helps loosen and thin mucus, making it easier to expel by coughing.

• Chlorpheniramine Maleate – An antihistamine that reduces allergy symptoms such as runny nose and sneezing.

• Ammonium Chloride – Acts as a mucolytic to help break up phlegm.

• Sodium Citrate – Soothes irritation and acts as an expectorant.

• Menthol – Provides a cooling effect and relieves throat irritation.

Dosage (General Guidelines)

• Adults: 10–15 ml every 6 hours

• Children (6–12 years): 5–10 ml every 6 hours
