How It Works

How to Use

• The syrup is usually given orally using a measuring spoon or syringe to ensure the correct dose.

• Dosage depends on the child’s age and weight; it is important to follow the instructions on the packaging or the doctor’s advice.

• Typically, the dose is given every 6 to 8 hours as needed but should not exceed 4 doses in 24 hours.

• Shake the bottle well before each use.

• It’s best to give Calprofen with food or milk to reduce the chance of stomach upset.

Precautions

• Avoid use if your child is allergic to ibuprofen or other NSAIDs.

• Do not give to children with certain health conditions such as asthma, kidney problems, or stomach ulcers without consulting a healthcare provider.
