Clotri Denk Cream 1%

Clotri Denk Cream contains clotrimazole, an antifungal agent from the imidazole class. It works by disrupting the cell membrane of fungi, leading to their death and effectively treating fungal infections on the skin.

Uses

• Treatment of superficial fungal infections such as:

  • Athlete’s foot (tinea pedis)

  • Ringworm (tinea corporis)

  • Jock itch (tinea cruris)

  • Candidiasis (yeast infections) of the skin

• Also effective against some bacterial infections as a mild antibacterial action is present.

• Used for infections caused by dermatophytes and yeasts.

Dosage and Administration

• Apply a thin layer of cream to the affected area and surrounding skin 2 to 3 times daily.

• Before application, clean and dry the affected area thoroughly.

• Continue treatment for 2 to 4 weeks or as directed by a healthcare provider, even if symptoms improve earlier, to prevent recurrence.

• Avoid contact with eyes, mouth, and mucous membranes.

• Wash hands before and after application.

Precautions

• For external use only; do not apply to open wounds or mucous membranes.

• Not recommended for use in patients with known allergy to clotrimazole or any cream components.

• Use cautiously in pregnant or breastfeeding women and only if clearly needed after consulting a healthcare professional.

• Discontinue use if irritation, redness, or swelling occurs and consult a doctor.

• Avoid using occlusive dressings over the treated area unless advised by a doctor.

Side Effects

• Common: Mild burning, itching, or irritation at the application site.

• Rare: Allergic reactions such as rash, swelling, or blistering.

• If severe irritation or signs of hypersensitivity occur, stop treatment and seek medical advice.

Storage

• Store at room temperature, away from direct sunlight and moisture.

• Keep out of reach of children.

• Ensure the tube is tightly closed after use.
