GANFORT Eye Drop

Active ingredients:

• Bimatoprost 0.3 mg/ml

• Timolol 5 mg/ml

What It Is Used For

GANFORT is used to reduce high pressure inside the eye in adults with:

• Open-angle glaucoma, or

• Ocular hypertension
  — when single medicines are not effective enough.

How It Works

• Bimatoprost helps fluid drain out of the eye more easily.

• Timolol slows down fluid production in the eye.

Together, they reduce eye pressure, which helps prevent vision loss.

How to Use

• One drop in the affected eye once daily, preferably in the evening.

• If you wear contact lenses, remove them before using. Wait at least 15 minutes before reinserting them.

• Do not touch the dropper tip to your eye or any surface.

• Press the corner of your eye (near the nose) for 1–2 minutes after applying the drop to reduce side effects.

Possible Side Effects

Common (can affect up to 1 in 10 people):

• Eye redness

• Itchy eyes

• Longer or thicker eyelashes

• Darkening of the skin around the eyes or the iris

Less common:

• Eye pain, dryness, tearing

• Blurred vision

• Feeling of something in the eye

• Slower heartbeat, low blood pressure (due to timolol)

Do Not Use If You Have

• Asthma or severe breathing problems

• Heart problems (slow heartbeat, heart block)

• Allergy to any ingredient in Ganfort

Use with Caution If

• You have diabetes, thyroid problems, or poor circulation

• You’ve had recent eye surgery

• You’re pregnant or breastfeeding (only use if your doctor recommends it)

Storage

• Store at room temperature.

• Throw away 4 weeks after opening the bottle.
