Lexporin Powder generally contains:

Uses (Indications)

Lexporin Powder is applied externally to prevent or treat minor skin infections, especially in:

• Cuts, wounds, scratches

• Burns

• Skin ulcers

• Surgical incisions

• Fungal-prone moist areas (to prevent secondary bacterial infection)

How to Use

1. Clean and gently dry the affected area

2. Sprinkle a thin layer of Lexporin Powder directly on the site

3. Cover with sterile dressing (if needed)

4. Use 2–3 times daily, or as directed by your healthcare provider

For external use only – do not apply inside the eyes, nose, mouth, or deep wounds.

Precautions

• Do not apply to large areas for a prolonged period — systemic absorption may occur

• Avoid use on deep puncture wounds, animal bites, or serious burns unless prescribed

• Allergic reactions (especially to neomycin) can occur

• Stop use if rash, itching, or swelling develops

Possible Side Effects

Common:

• Mild skin irritation

• Itching or burning sensation at the site

Rare but serious:

• Allergic contact dermatitis

• Delayed wound healing

• Superinfection (new infection from resistant bacteria)
