Composition

Each Limzer capsule typically contains:

• Esomeprazole magnesium (commonly 20 mg or 40 mg)

Esomeprazole is the S-isomer of omeprazole, used to suppress stomach acid.

Primary Uses

Limzer is prescribed to treat:

• Gastroesophageal reflux disease (GERD)

• Peptic ulcers (stomach and duodenal ulcers)

• Erosive esophagitis

• Zollinger-Ellison syndrome (acid overproduction)

• H. pylori infection (as part of combination therapy)

• Prevention of NSAID-related ulcers

Dosage & Administration

• Usual adult dose:

  • 20 mg or 40 mg once daily

• Take the capsule whole, ideally 30–60 minutes before meals

• Do not crush or chew

Precautions
