Uses

• Reduces intraocular pressure (IOP) in people with:

  • Open-angle glaucoma

  • Ocular hypertension

• May also be used cosmetically to enhance eyelash growth (off-label, under supervision)

How It Works

Bimatoprost is a prostaglandin analog. It works by increasing the outflow of fluid (aqueous humor) from the eye, thereby lowering pressure inside the eye.

How to Use

• One drop in the affected eye(s) once daily in the evening

• Do not apply more than once daily—more frequent use can reduce effectiveness

• If you wear contact lenses: remove them before use and wait 15 minutes before reinserting

Precautions

Possible Side Effects

• Permanent darkening of the iris (especially in people with mixed eye colors)

• Eye inflammation or swelling

• Vision changes

Storage Instructions

• Store at room temperature, away from light and moisture

• Keep bottle tightly closed and out of reach of children

• Do not touch the dropper tip to any surface to avoid contamination
