Active Ingredients

• Clotrimazole 1% – Antifungal agent effective against ringworm, athlete’s foot, and candidiasis

• Betamethasone dipropionate 0.05% – Potent steroid that reduces redness, itching, and inflammation

• Neomycin sulfate 0.5% – Topical antibiotic used to treat or prevent secondary bacterial infections

What It Is

Mycolex-3 is a triple-action topical cream used to treat fungal skin infections that are accompanied by inflammation and/or bacterial infection. It is commonly used for:

• Tinea (ringworm, athlete’s foot, jock itch)

• Inflamed fungal rashes

• Infected eczema or dermatitis

How to Use

• Apply a thin layer to the clean, dry affected area 2 to 3 times daily

• Gently rub into the skin

• Use for 5 to 14 days, depending on severity and medical advice

• Wash hands before and after application

• Avoid use on face, genitals, or broken skin

Side Effects

• Common: Mild burning, itching, or redness at the application site

• Less common: Skin thinning, stretch marks, discoloration, or allergic reactions

• Prolonged use of the steroid can lead to skin damage or resistance

Precautions

• For external use only

• Avoid prolonged use or large area application

• Not recommended for children under 12 without medical supervision

• Do not use in the eyes, mouth, or open wounds
