Silverderma Cream (Silver Sulfadiazine 1%)
Silverderma Cream contains silver sulfadiazine 1%, used to prevent and treat infections in burns and skin wounds.
It works by releasing silver ions that kill bacteria and fungi but should not be used in infants under 2 months or people allergic to sulfa or silver.
Common side effects include mild burning or rash; overuse on large wounds can lead to systemic side effects.

Leg ulcers, pressure sores, abrasions, and skin graft donor sites

HOW IT WORKS

Slowly releases silver ions that destroy the cell walls and DNA of bacteria and fungi

Active against broad-spectrum microbes including Staphylococcus aureus, Pseudomonas, and Candida
DOSAGE & ADMINISTRATION

Apply a thin layer (1–3 mm) to the cleaned wound once or twice daily

Cover with dressing if needed

Continue until healing or skin grafting is complete

Use sterile gloves or applicator during application

SIDE EFFECTS
