Stopkof Cold & Catarrh Syrup

Type: Oral syrup for cold and allergy symptoms
Use: Relief from cold, catarrh, nasal congestion, sneezing, fever, and minor aches

Active Ingredients (per 5 ml)

• Paracetamol (Acetaminophen) – Reduces fever and relieves mild pain

• Triprolidine Hydrochloride – Antihistamine that reduces sneezing, runny nose, and allergic reactions

• Pseudoephedrine Hydrochloride – Nasal decongestant that reduces nasal and sinus swelling

How It Works

This syrup acts by:

1. Reducing fever and body aches (paracetamol)

2. Relieving sneezing and runny nose (triprolidine)

3. Clearing nasal congestion and blocked sinuses (pseudoephedrine)

Dosage & Administration

• Adults and children over 12 years: 5 ml every 4–6 hours

• Maximum: 6 doses (30 ml) in 24 hours

• Shake well before use

• Do not exceed recommended dose

Precautions

• Not suitable for children under 6 years unless advised by a doctor

• Use cautiously in people with high blood pressure, heart disease, diabetes, or glaucoma

• Avoid combining with other medications containing paracetamol

• May cause drowsiness, dry mouth, increased heart rate, or insomnia

• Do not use for more than 3 consecutive days without consulting a doctor

Do Not Use If You Have

• Allergies to any ingredients

• Uncontrolled hypertension

• Severe liver or kidney disease

• Taken MAO inhibitors in the past 14 days

Pregnancy & Breastfeeding

• Use only if prescribed by a doctor

• Pseudoephedrine and antihistamines may not be recommended during pregnancy

• Usually available in 100 ml bottles, red syrup with a fruity flavor

• Store in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight

• Keep out of reach of children
