Uses / Indications

Stugeron 25 mg is prescribed or used for:

1. Motion sickness (nausea, vomiting during travel)

2. Vertigo and dizziness from conditions like Menière’s disease

3. Tinnitus (ringing in the ears) and nystagmus

4. Labyrinthine disorders (inner ear dysfunction)

Tablet Details

• Appearance: Round, film-coated white or off-white tablets

Dosage Guidelines

Note: Dosage should be individualized based on age and condition.

• Adults:

  • Motion sickness: 1 tablet 2 hours before travel, then 1 tablet every 8 hours if needed

  • Vertigo or inner ear disorder: 1 tablet 3 times daily after meals

• Children (5–12 years): Half the adult dose

• Not recommended for children under 5 years unless directed by a doctor

• Maximum daily dose: Usually does not exceed 75 mg per day

Precautions & Contraindications

• Use cautiously in people with:

  • Parkinson’s disease (can worsen symptoms)

  • Epilepsy, glaucoma, urinary retention, prostate enlargement

  • Liver or kidney disease

• Avoid during alcohol consumption due to increased drowsiness

• Caution with other CNS depressants or sedating drugs

• Not suitable for pregnant or breastfeeding women unless prescribed

• Should be used with care in the elderly, especially with long-term use

Do Not Use If:
