Uses / Indications

Mechanism of Action

Dosage & Administration

  • Asthma (12 years and older): 2 inhalations twice daily

  • COPD: 2 inhalations twice daily

  • Maximum: Do not exceed 4 puffs in 24 hours

  • Always rinse mouth after each use to prevent oral thrush

  • Shake inhaler well before use and inhale deeply


Precautions & Side Effects

  • Common side effects: Sore throat, cough, hoarseness, oral thrush (fungal infection), headache

  • Serious but rare: Worsening asthma, adrenal suppression, increased heart rate, low potassium, vision changes

  • Use caution in patients with heart problems, diabetes, glaucoma, or infections

  • Not for use in acute asthma attacks (use a reliever like salbutamol instead)
