Zintab 10 mg contains elemental zinc used to treat or prevent zinc deficiency, support immunity, and aid in diarrhea management and wound healing. It’s usually taken once daily after food. Side effects are mild and include nausea or stomach upset.

Indications / Uses:

Dosage & Administration:
Adults:

1 tablet (10 mg elemental zinc) once daily, preferably after meals.

Can be increased if higher supplementation is required (per doctor’s advice).
Children:

6 months to 5 years (for diarrhea): 10 mg once daily for 10–14 days.

For general deficiency: Dosage adjusted by weight/age—consult pediatric guidelines.
Administration: Take with a full glass of water, after food to reduce gastrointestinal discomfort. Do not crush or chew unless advised.
Contraindications:

Hypersensitivity to zinc or any excipients

Severe kidney disease (use with caution)
Warnings and Precautions:

Long-term use of high-dose zinc can interfere with copper and iron absorption.

Avoid taking concurrently with iron, calcium, or antacids—space doses by at least 2 hours.
