Becoactin Tablet

Becoactin is a medication used to stimulate appetite and support weight gain. It combines:

• Cyproheptadine (4 mg) – an antihistamine that also increases appetite

• B vitamins (B1, B2, B6, B12) – support energy production and nervous system health

• Iron and Zinc – essential minerals for blood and immune function

Main Uses

• Stimulates appetite in people with poor eating habits

• Helps with weight gain in underweight individuals

• Supports recovery from illness or malnutrition

• Can also relieve allergy symptoms like runny nose or itching

Usual Dosage

Adults:

• 4 mg every 8 hours (usually 3 times daily)

• Can increase up to 20 mg per day (maximum 32 mg if advised by a doctor)

Children:

• 2 to 4 mg, 2 to 3 times per day depending on age and weight

• Always follow a doctor’s instructions for children

Warnings

Do not take Becoactin if you:

Drug Interactions

• Can interact with sleeping pills, antidepressants, and allergy medications
