Anticid Plus Suspension – Luex (250 mL)

Composition (per 5 mL):
Aluminium hydroxide 250 mg, Magnesium hydroxide 250 mg, Simethicone 50 mg.
This liquid antacid formulation combines acid-neutralizing agents and simethicone to relieve acidity, bloating, and gas.

Indications

• Provides relief from hyperacidity, indigestion, flatulence, heartburn, and abdominal discomfort.

• Useful in managing acid peptic disorders and non-ulcer dyspepsia.

Dosage

• Adults and children above 12 years: 5 to 10 mL taken orally 20 minutes after meals and at bedtime, or as directed by a physician.

• Shake well before use.

Contraindications and Precautions

• Avoid in patients with known hypersensitivity to any of the ingredients.

• Use with caution in patients with impaired kidney function due to risk of aluminium or magnesium accumulation.

• Long-term use should be monitored by a healthcare professional.

Side Effects

• May cause mild gastrointestinal symptoms such as constipation or diarrhea.

• Prolonged use at high doses may lead to electrolyte imbalance.

• Store below 30 degrees Celsius.

• Protect from sunlight and moisture.

• Close the cap tightly after use and consume within 30 days of opening.
