What It Is

Gyno‑Mycolex is a vaginal antifungal pessary containing 400 mg miconazole nitrate, designed to treat yeast infections (vulvovaginal candidiasis) and related bacterial superinfections.

Dosage & Administration

• Insert one pessary nightly for 3 consecutive nights at bedtime, preferably while lying down.

• The pessary dissolves to deliver medication directly in the vagina.

• Typically resolves mild infections; longer treatment may be needed for complicated cases.

Indications & Benefits

• Relieves symptoms such as itching, burning, discharge, and irritation.

• May be used alongside antifungal cream or partner treatment for more persistent infections.
