How It Works
Secnidazole works by entering protozoal or bacterial cells and disrupting their DNA, leading to the death of the microorganism.
It is similar to metronidazole but has a longer half-life, allowing for single-dose treatment in most cases.
Dosage & Administration

Adults: Typically, a single dose of 2 grams (4 tablets of 500 mg) taken with food
