  • Administration:

    • Reconstitute the powder with sterile water for injection

    • Administer intravenously over 3-4 minutes or via infusion over 30-40 minutes


Side Effects

  • Common: Nausea, vomiting, diarrhea, rash

  • Serious: Allergic reactions, liver dysfunction, blood disorders

Contraindications

  • Hypersensitivity to penicillins or cephalosporins
