Anticid Plus Tablet – Luex

Composition (per tablet):
Each chewable tablet contains Aluminium hydroxide, Magnesium hydroxide, and Simethicone.
This combination works to neutralize excess stomach acid and relieve gas-related discomfort by breaking down gas bubbles in the gut.

Indications

• Used for the relief of hyperacidity, heartburn, acid reflux, indigestion, flatulence, and bloating.

• Beneficial for conditions like non-ulcer dyspepsia and acid-related gastritis.

Dosage and Administration

• Adults: Chew 1 to 2 tablets 20 minutes after meals and at bedtime or as directed by a healthcare provider.

• Do not swallow whole.

• Not recommended for children under 12 years unless prescribed.

Contraindications and Precautions

• Contraindicated in individuals with known allergies to aluminium, magnesium, or simethicone.

• Use cautiously in patients with renal impairment due to the risk of aluminium or magnesium accumulation.

• Long-term use should be under medical supervision to prevent electrolyte imbalance.

Side Effects

• Common: Constipation (from aluminium), diarrhea (from magnesium), mild stomach discomfort.

• Rare: Electrolyte disturbances like low phosphate levels or elevated magnesium levels with prolonged use.
