Product Overview
Amoxicillin oral suspension is a liquid antibiotic containing amoxicillin, commonly available in concentrations such as 125 mg/5 ml or 250 mg/5 ml.
It is formulated as a powder to be reconstituted with water before use, ideal for children and patients who have difficulty swallowing capsules or tablets.

Indications
Used to treat bacterial infections including:

• Respiratory tract infections like bronchitis, pneumonia, and tonsillitis

• Ear, nose, and throat infections such as otitis media and sinusitis

• Urinary tract infections

• Skin and soft tissue infections

• Dental infections

Dosage and Administration

• Dose is weight-based, commonly 20-40 mg/kg/day divided into two or three doses.

• Shake well before each use.

• Administer with or without food; taking with food may reduce stomach upset.

• Complete the full prescribed course even if symptoms improve.

Contraindications and Precautions

• Do not use in patients allergic to penicillins or beta-lactam antibiotics.

• Use caution in patients with kidney impairment; adjust dose accordingly.
