Product Composition (per 5 mL):

• Aluminium Hydroxide Gel 225 mg

• Magnesium Hydroxide 225 mg

Description

Ancigel is an oral antacid suspension used for the quick relief of hyperacidity, heartburn, gastritis, and acid indigestion. The combination of aluminium and magnesium hydroxides neutralizes excess gastric acid while reducing bloating and stomach discomfort.

Indications

• Acid reflux (GERD)

• Heartburn and sour stomach

• Gastritis and epigastric pain

• Peptic ulcer support treatment (with prescription medications)

Dosage and Administration

Adults and children over 12 years:

• Take 5–10 mL orally 1 hour after meals and at bedtime or as directed by a physician
  Children under 12 years:

• Only use under medical advice
  Note: Shake well before use. Do not exceed recommended doses.

Contraindications and Precautions

• Do not use if allergic to aluminium or magnesium compounds

• Use with caution in patients with kidney disease or electrolyte imbalances

• May interfere with the absorption of certain medications such as tetracyclines, iron, and fluoroquinolones (allow a 2-hour gap)

Side Effects

• Common: Constipation (from aluminium), loose stools (from magnesium), mild abdominal cramps

• Rare: Allergic reactions or electrolyte imbalances with long-term use

Storage Instructions

• Store below 30°C in a dry place away from direct light

• Keep tightly closed and out of reach of children

• Discard after 30 days of opening the bottle
